The geophysical industry creates an amazing opportunity for individuals looking for an adventure. Althought the application of reflection seismic surveying has been in use for a long time, the geophysical exploration process is one with which very few individuals outside of the oil and gas industry are familiar. Educated and degreed geoscientists, through their schooling, have broad based knowledge of this process and the career path that may follow. For others not familiar, we want to give you a glimpse into this technique and the efforts that make it a reality. We hope that it will spark some interest and curiosity that will lead you to ask more questions, and possibly pursue a career in the geophysical industry.
