Americas Chapter happenings

IAGC is presenting two opportunities for a short, concentrated workshop to introduce the new Model Master License Agreement.  The workshop will be organized and presented by the Americas Chapter Data Licensing Committee.  Handout materials will include the new Model Master Data License Agreement, prior articles & references, and copies of the IAGC Statements of Principles.

The workshop is for IAGC member company employees only.  Suggested attendees include non-exclusive data personnel and management, contracts administration personnel, company attorneys, etc. (Limited to first 50 registrants for each date).  Participants are expected to quickly gain an understanding of the forces that led IAGC members to update this new Model Master License Agreement. And provide

detailed discussion on the following key sub-topics:

·         Transfer fees

·         Consultants and 3^rd party access to licensed data

·         Data reviews, virtual and real data rooms, and contractor data review/QC showings

·         Partner rights and non-rights, potential partners

·         Interpretation/ownership vs. derived products
